New Call for Applications for Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship Programme 2024/25 Now Open!
We are excited to announce that the Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship Programme is now accepting applications for higher education studies in Hungary for the Academic Year 2024/25. The Call for Applications is open until 31 January 2024. Apply now at diasporascholarship.hu/en/apply/call-for-application/.
The online application system is set to open in early November. We will notify you once the system is operational.
In our commitment to provide information and support, we are organizing two informative events for diaspora organizations, partners, and applicants. The events will cover the scholarship opportunity and provide insights into the application process. Mark your calendars for the following dates:
- Information event for diaspora organizations and partners: 14 November, 12 December 2023
- Information event for applicants: 5 December 2023, 15 January 2024
While there are no major changes in the Call for Application and its timeline, various enhancements have been made to streamline the application process. Detailed specifications and additional comments have been incorporated to assist applicants in understanding the requirements better. Notably, a comprehensive guide has been included to differentiate between motivation letters and letters of recommendation.

As we continue to improve our services, we are updating the list of diaspora organizations for applicants to approach for letters of recommendation. Expect a questionnaire on this matter soon.
