Coming soon...Building bridges and sparking innovation, the first-ever Hungarian Summit is coming to Daytona Beach!
The non-profit HungarianHub is proud to present the Hungarian Summit in Daytona Beach in March of 2020, bringing together business and community leaders from Hungary and Volusia County to foster greater economic success and cultural appreciation as the collaboration and investment between these two countries increases each day with a growing population of over 110,000 Hungarians in Florida alone.
Hungary and Florida share an entrepreneurial spirit, and a dedication to community investment, higher education, and cultural enrichment. Over the years we have facilitated many visits from Hungarian business-owners and leaders. The success of these business and cultural exchanges led to the creation of the Hungarian Summit! Our partners for the Summit so far include the UCF Incubator Program, the American-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce in New York, the Hungarian-American Coalition and different universitities. These partners are on the forefront of an increasing emphasis on strengthening economic ties between the U.S. and Hungary, as a growing number of Hungarian startups seek to establish themselves in America and the need grows for greater cooperation in the field of higher education.
Day 1 will feature an opening ceremony and a world-renown Hungarian keynote speaker who we will be announcing soon, followed by panel discussions on education, business, community, and culture. We are exploring field trip opportunities for Day 2, and the Summit concludes on Day 3 with the 6th Annual Hungarian Festival in Port Orange.
