Bluebeard’s Castle (Hungarian: A kekszakallu herceg vara; literaly: The Blue-Bearded Duke’s Castle) is a one-act expressionist opera by Hungarian composer Bela Bartok. The libretto was written by Bela Balazs. It is sung in Hungarian, based on the French literary tale La Barbe bleue by Charles Perrault. This one hour tale of psychological suspence and secrets will have you on the edge of your seat. Spertitles provided.
