We are happy to inform you about the summer university courses of the Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship, which is a brand-new opportunity for the Hungarian diaspora community! This summer applicants with a Hungarian background have the chance to visit Hungary and to participate in inspiring short-term courses and community activities with the Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship. The opportunity will allow them to gain experiences and impressions of our country and awaken their interest in a longer-term period of study in Hungary.
What students can expect?
Inspiring courses: Students can choose from a wide array of courses from top Hungarian universities and education institutions ranging from Hungarian language courses to thematic classes lasting from 2 to 4 weeks.
Community experience: Applicants can make new friendships with fellow diaspora students and international students from all around the world!
Hungarian cultural programs: Participants can discover their Hungarian heritage through social activities, while they can explore the richness of Hungarian culture, in the iconic cities of Hungary from excursions to dance classes.

Eligibility:
Open to all applicants of Hungarian descent residing in the diaspora outside of Europe.
Current Diaspora scholarship holders may apply if their previous scholarship status concludes before the chosen Summer University Course.
